Travellers arriving to the Republic of Lithuania for the period not exceeding three days inclusive must have not less than 300 litas (75 USD) in cash or a corresponding amount in foreign currency, and travellers arriving for a period exceeding 3 days must have not less than 100 litas (25 USD) for one day or a corresponding amount in foreign currency. This requirement shall not be applied to travellers of Lithuania, travellers going by transit via the territory of the Republic of Lithuania, and to non-lithuanian travellers arriving for the purposes of studying, medical treatment and working to upon presentation by them of a certificate issued pursuant to the procedure established by the ministry of interior.
In international airports and seaports you can choose green or red card of customs control system.( a green card "Nothing to declare"; a red card "Goods to declare").
One is allowed to import to Lithuania without duty fee:
Besides personal things one can take with oneself coming to
Lithuania:
Sport inventory: windsurfing; boat or a canoe; bicycle without
engine; tent; one pair of skis; two tennis rackets; angling equipment;
mountaineering equipment;
Civil weapon (hunting, sport, rifle for self-defence)
Other necessary personal things, but no more than: one portable music instrument; one portable typing machine; two cameras and 10 photo films; one narrow tape film apparatus and its equipment; portable electronic apparatus with the source of energy: computer; video tape recorder; film camera; tape recorder; gramophone; audio apparatus; video apparatus; television set; mobile telephone; binoculars; perambulator;

Presents (except automobiles), the value of which is up to 3000 Lt. Importing presents costing more than 3000 Lt one must pay import duty of 10% and plus VAT of 18%.
To take with oneself foreign currency more than 10 thousand Lt in cash the sum is to be declared at the customs.
Leaving Lithuania one can take up to 5 thousand Lt in cash, excluding the nominal value of coins from collections.
Temporary import and export procedure is applied for private means of transport and when taking animals with oneself. Fuel in the tanks of private means of transport is imported or exported without taxes.

* Persons taking cats and dogs with themselves must have the health and inoculation certificate from the veterinary.
