The popular Travel supplement of the
British Sunday Times introduces the Lithuanian seaside as a
good holiday destination for families with
children. The Lithuanian seaside ranks 22nd in a list of the
top 100 summer destinations this year.
The Travel supplement published an article
about the Lithuanian seaside entitled Baltic Beauty. According to the article, the
advantages of Lithuanian beaches are big dunes, a lot of space, nature
and exceptional attractions such as smoked fish
from the hands of a fisherman.
33,000 travellers from Britain stayed in Lithuanian accommodation
establishments in 2006, an increase of
23 percent from the previous year.
