Lithuania gets high score for tourism convenience

Lithuania ranks 51st, surpassing its closest neighbours, in the first-ever global Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index published by the World Economic Forum. The top three countries praised as most attractive for tourism development include Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Estonia ranks 28th leaving Lithuania far behind. Latvia and Poland rank 53rd and 63rd, respectively.
